Danny Duffy (elbow) will return to Kansas City Sunday night to undergo an MRI. Duffy left his start Sunday in the first inning with "medial left elbow tightness." "I came out and [he said] 'I'm all right, I can pitch through it,' but as soon as he said it was in [his] elbow, I said that's it," Royals manager Ned Yost said. "We need to get that checked and see what's going on there, and go from there." The 23-year-old lefty had a start skipped last month due to elbow tightness and this ailment is being described as similar to that. Stay tuned.
