Daniel Hudson was fantastic Monday in extending the Diamondbacks' winning streak to seven games, tossing seven shutout innings while allowing just three hits and three walks in a 5-1 victory over the Rockies. Hudson punched out eight batters, his highest total since April. Though he struggled through a rough July, the young right-hander has picked things back up in August, posting a 2.88 ERA over six outings. Now 14-9 with a 3.61 ERA and 1.24 WHIP for the season, Hudson will face off against the Giants in a critical NL West battle this weekend.
