Daniel Hudson (elbow) threw sliders during a bullpen session Tuesday. It's the first time since last year's Tommy John surgery that he's been allowed to throw breaking balls. Hudson is expected to need 4-5 more weeks of bullpen sessions before proceeding to the next step. The right-hander isn't expected back until the second half and will return as a reliever.
