Daniel Hudson (elbow) gave up two runs on five hits over four innings in an extended spring training game on Friday. It's the first time since last year's Tommy John surgery that Hudson has faced hitters wearing a different uniform. The D'Backs says the righty's fastball sat in the 91-93 mph range, which is obviously a good sign. "The light at the end of the tunnel is getting a little bit brighter now," Hudson said. Hudson will appear in another extended spring game next week and doesn't appear far off from a rehab assignment. He could be back as soon as late June if all goes well, though the big club doesn't currently have room for him in the rotation.
