Daniel Bard is unlikely to see any game action with the Cubs over the final eight games of the regular season. Bard was acquired off waivers by the Cubs on September 4. Cubs' manager Dale Sveum said Friday that he was still throwing side sessions and in the process of getting completely healthy, and that the organization would get a good look at him during spring training.
