Dan Uggla hit a two-run homer in Wednesday's season-ending loss to the Braves. He took Cole Hamels deep in the third inning. Uggla finishes his year with 36 home runs, a new career best by three. He has now homered at least 30 times in five straight seasons. His season will be remembered for his Braves record 33-game hitting streak and for the manner in which he turned around his campaign after the All-Star break, batting .296 after hitting just .185 before it. He'll make $13 million in the second year of a five-year contract in 2012.
