Daisuke Matsuzaka left Sunday's start versus the Padres with an apparent injury. It appeared that Matsuzaka might have tweaked his side in the first inning, so it could be an oblique issue. He remained in the game to finish off the inning but was replaced in the second frame. The Mets should provide an update on the hurler shortly.
