Daisuke Matsuzaka fell to 3-3, allowing five runs over five innings as the Mets were defeated by the Braves 5-4 on Tuesday. Matsuzaka has been hit-or-miss for the Mets over his seven starts, either putting up a clunker or looking dominant. It was a clunker on Tuesday, as he allowed seven hits while walking three and striking out five. The right-hander will take his 3.72 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 54/38 K/BB ratio into his next outing against the Braves at home.
