Daisuke Matsuzaka blanked the Braves for seven innings Monday, but he didn't factor into the decision after a three-run eighth. Matsuzaka remained 2-3 through eight starts this season, with a 3.98 ERA in those games. He's a hard guy to trust, but he's giving the Mets all they could have hoped for. Of course, it is something of a fluke that he's allowed just one homer in 40 2/3 innings as a starter to date.
