Souza went 4-for-28 with 10 strikeouts across 13 games with the Dodgers earlier this season before he was dropped from the 40-man roster July 6. After going unclaimed off waivers, Souza reported to Triple-A Oklahoma City and stuck around with the affiliate for about a week before being granted his release. The veteran outfielder will look to land a minor-league contract with another organization.
