Cron was on the Diamondbacks' Opening Day roster in 2020, but he spent most of the season at the team's alternate training site after failing to record a hit in 17 at-bats. The 27-year-old will seek a new opportunity during the offseason after struggling over a limited sample in the majors over the last two years.
