Acquired from the Royals earlier this month, Padlo appeared in five games for Triple-A Iowa and went 2-for-17 with a home run, three walks and nine strikeouts before being cut loose. The 28-year-old had seen limited big-league action in each of the past three seasons but has played exclusively at the Double-A and Triple-A levels in 2024.
