Cuddyer (shoulder) went a collective 5-for-10 in his return from the DL for Sunday's doubleheader with the Reds, hitting for the cycle in Game 2. He finished the day with three RBI and four runs scored. Cuddyer was activated from the DL on Saturday and was set to reenter the lineup, before a water main break near Coors Field resulted in the contest being postponed a day. Despite having his return from the left shoulder fracture temporarily delayed, Cuddyer appeared to be no worse for the wear, collecting a two-run double in the Rockies' five-run eighth inning to become the first Colorado hitter to record the cycle since Carlos Gonzalez turned the trick on July 31, 2010. Now healthy, Cuddyer should remain a fixture in the lineup in right field, likely relegating either Charlie Blackmon or Drew Stubbs to more frequent bench duty.
