Cuddyer (hamstring) is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Royals. A late scratch from Tuesday's lineup with left hamstring soreness, Cuddyer will sit again Wednesday as Brandon Barnes steps in at right field. Cuddyer is listed on the lineup card as a reserve and will be afforded another day of rest with the team off Thursday, but a return for Friday's opener against Miami is by no means a lock.
