Cubs released INF Ian Stewart. The move comes two weeks after Stewart was suspended for expressing frustration about the Cubs on his personal Twitter account. It's not clear if he will give any of his salary back to the team for getting his release. As is, he's still owed about half of his $2 million salary for this season.
