The Chicago Cubs signed starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks to a four-year contract extension on Tuesday that includes an option for the 2024 season. Financial terms of the extension were not disclosed. Hendricks isn't the sexiest fantasy commodity as a starting pitcher, but he's still useful in all leagues. The 29-year-old had a 3.44 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 161 strikeouts in 199 innings (33 starts) for the Cubbies in 2018. He's now tossed at least 190 innings in two of the last three seasons.
