Cubs activated 3B Ian Stewart from the 15-day disabled list, optioned him to Triple-A Iowa. Stewart has just four hits in 44 at-bats during his rehab assignment, so he'll continue to try to figure things out in the minors. Luis Valbuena and Cody Ransom will continue to share time at the hot corner for the Cubs.
