CSNNE's Sean McAdam reports that David Ortiz (back) has told Red Sox manager John Farrell that he's "good to go" for Friday's game in Tampa. The Red Sox haven't officially posted their lineup yet, but it sounds like Ortiz will be in it. Big Papi didn't play Thursday after exiting Wednesday's game with back spasms, but he's made a quick recovery. Ortiz is batting .251/.346/.501 with 24 homers and 72 RBI for the Sox this season.
