Cruz (calf) left Tuesday's affair in the fourth inning, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Scott Servais said after the game that Cruz is expected to be okay, but was taken out of the lopsided game against the Twins nonetheless. Prior to exiting, the slugger went 1-for-2 with one RBI and a run scored. Cruz recently had a similar ordeal in late May after leaving a game in the second inning due to right calf tightness, but the 36-year-old started the following day. Consider Cruz day-to-day for now as the Mariners are set to battle Minnesota again Wednesday.
