Crow was optioned to Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Wednesday. Crow has been hammered in three of his past four appearances, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk to go with one strikeout in 3.1 innings. Although he's been the weak link of an otherwise stellar bullpen, he'll likely return to the Royals once rosters expand in September.
