Crisp went 0-for-4 on Friday to drop his average on the season to .254. Crisp entered the All-Star Break hitting .291, but has been terrible recently and is now only 8-for-66 since the break with no homers or steals. Crisp missed some time in early August with a recurrence of his neck injury, but has only missed one game since August 4th. He appears to be healthy enough to play, but he is going through a very brutal stretch that suggests he may not be anywhere near 100%.
