Crisp (elbow) will undergo surgery to remove bone chips in his right elbow Friday, Mike Vernon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Crisp's surgery was pretty much a foregone conclusion, and now has been officially confirmed. He's expected to miss six-to-eight weeks because of the operation, leaving Craig Gentry, Sam Fuld and Ben Zobrist as the likely trio of outfielders to start Opening Day.
