Crisp (elbow) is slightly ahead of schedule in his recovery, as he wasn't expected to start baseball activities until the upcoming weekend, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports. Crisp resumed baseball activities Wednesday, throwing from 60 feet and taking swings from both side of the plate. While he's apparently a few days ahead of the original timetable, Crisp is still unlikely to play in games any sooner than late May or early June.
