Craig Gentry is dealing with a non-displaced fracture of his right hand and hopes to only miss a couple of weeks. Gentry broke his hand on a bunt attempt Sunday, but it sounds like things could have been much worse under the circumstances. The A's have called up speedster Billy Burns for some outfield insurance with Coco Crisp (neck) also sidelined.
