Odorizzi allowed three runs on four hits and two walks over 4.2 innings in Friday's win over the Rangers. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Odorizzi rolled through fairly easy innings before the Rangers finally broke through in the fifth. He coughed up three runs, including a two-run triple by Nate Lowe, before he was knocked out of the game. It was his second straight game failing to finish the fifth inning but he avoided taking his third straight loss.The 31-year-old's ERA jumped to 4.23 through 55.1 frames. Odorizzi is lined up to take the mound in Seattle next week.
