Cory Wade has elected free agency. Wade was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays earlier this month and has decided to test out the market rather than accept an assignment to Triple-A. The 29-year-old right-hander posted a 6.46 ERA and 38/8 K/BB ratio over 39 innings in the majors this past season.
