Correa was recalled from Triple-A Fresno on Monday. Arguably the top prospect in all of baseball, the 20-year-old Correa is expected to immediately step in as Houston's starting shortstop, taking at-bats away from Jonathan Villar and Marwin Gonzalez. Correa posted a .276/.345/.449 slash line for Triple-A Fresno this season, with three home runs, three stolen bases and a 14:12 K:BB ratio in 113 plate appearances (98 at-bats). The former No. 1 overall pick struggled in rookie ball during his first professional season, but he has since posted excellent numbers at every level of the minors. He figures to make his big-league debut Monday night against Chris Sale and the White Sox.
