Corey Kluber whiffed eight while holding the Nationals scoreless over eight innings in a 2-0 victory Sunday. Kluber permitted just seven singles on the day. Indians manager Terry Francona sent him out for the eight even though he had already thrown 102 pitches, and Kluber responded with an easy, 12-pitch, 1-2-3 frame. The righty now has a 3.58 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and sparkling 65/12 K/BB ratio on the season. He should be in fantasy lineups for a nice matchup against the Twins at home next weekend.
