Corey Kluber was rocked by the A's in the first game of a doubleheader Wednesday, giving up five runs on eight hits over 3 1/3 innings in the Indians' loss. Kluber didn't isolate his futility to just one frame, allowing the A's to score at least one run in each of the first three innings. Along with the eight hits allowed, the right-hander also walked three and struck out two in the outing. More was expected of Kluber after a 2013 season in which he went 11-5 with a 3.85 ERA over 147 1/3 innings, and he'll look for a better showing next week against the Padres.
