Corey Kluber should have picked up his first MLB victory on Tuesday, limiting the Twins to two runs on six hits over six-plus strong frames, but the Indians bullpen blew another late inning lead.
The 26-year-old right-hander walked three and struck out three on the evening. Justin Morneau smacked an RBI single in the first inning, then Kluber shut the Twins down until the seventh inning. Brian Dozier led off that frame with a double, and came around to score after Kluber was removed from the game. While he still shouldn't be started in most fantasy formats, it's a nice night for the minor league veteran. He'll look to carry over the momentum from this strong outing when he takes on the Red Sox at home on Sunday.
