Corey Kluber fired seven shutout innings while striking out eight in a win against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday. Kluber allowed only four hits and one walk. The veteran posted a 5.40 ERA over his first four starts, but has been dynamite since shutting out the Royals on April 24. Despite his success, tonight marked Kluber's first win since May 30. Kluber will take a 7-5 record, 3.09 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 122/28 K/BB rate into a date against the Dodgers on Monday.
