Corey Kluber delivered an outstanding performance in Friday's victory over the Royals, surrendering just three hits and three walks over 7 2/3 scoreless innings. Kluber racked up eight punchouts in the impressive outing. It marked the sixth time that Kluber has struck out eight or more in a game this season. He finishes up a very solid first half of the season with a 7-5 record, 3.88 ERA and 94/22 K/BB ratio in 95 innings. His strikeout ability has been a nice surprise in fantasy leagues, and his 3.02 xFIP hints that he may be in line for even better results in the second half.
