Atlanta selected Dodd's contract Monday, calling him up from Triple-A Gwinnett.

The 24-year-old started 10 games combined last season with Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett, surrendering 18 earned runs while striking out 62 batters over 53 innings.
