Peralta is being promoted to Triple-A Toledo to continue his throwing program, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Peralta joined the Tigers on a minor-league deal this offseason but was delayed in reporting to spring training due to visa issues. He began his season at Low-A Lakeland as a result and threw two frames with the team Saturday. He'll now shift his work to Triple-A Toledo. Though no exact timetable has been given from the team, it is anticipated that Peralta will have his contract selected by the major-league club, which could happen as early as April 15, according to Beck.
