Conley was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans on Tuesday, Juan C. Rodriguez of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Conley gave up four runs (two earned) during his only Grapefruit League appearance and will head back to Triple-A to start the year. Though he'll likely continue to work as a starter on the farm, Conley's future in the major leagues will likely be as a bullpen piece.
