Conley (7-7) picked up the win after allowing three runs on five hits and three walks in 5.2 innings Saturday against the Brewers. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Conley appeared to be cruising to his ninth quality start of the season before back to back homers from Ryan Braun and Travis Shaw forced him out of the game in the sixth inning. The 27-year-old southpaw has had issues keeping the ball in the park lately, allowing nine home runs in his last six starts, which hasn't helped his already inflated ERA. Conley, who owns an unsightly 5.20 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 72:38 K:BB through 98.2 innings this season, will make his next start Friday against the Diamondbacks.
