Conley (3-3) couldn't put the ball where he wanted it in Sunday's loss to the Nationals, surrendering six runs on seven hits and seven walks over 5.1 innings while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Just 58 of his 106 pitches went for strikes, and those that did find the zone got turned around in a hurry by Nats' hitters. Conley's ERA jumped three-quarters of a run, from 3.40 to 4.15, and his WHIP rose from 1.28 to 1.43 as well after the awful outing. His rotation spot isn't in any jeopardy given the Marlins' lack of alternatives, though, and Conley will be in a good spot to rebound when he takes the mound Friday in Atlanta.
