Conley (2-3) allowed seven runs on six hits and three walks across 3.2 innings in Monday's loss to the Cardinals. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Conley allowed a bases-clearing double to counterpart Carlos Martinez in the second inning and was chased with two outs in the fourth as the visitors plated five more. He was in the strike zone consistently but wasn't able to put hitters away in key situations, including a trio of extra-base hits with multiple men on. Conley didn't allow more than three runs in any of his first four starts, but he has yielded 18 over his last 10.2 innings to send his ERA skyrocketing to 7.53 on the season. He will need to improve his performance to keep his regular spot in the rotation and will look to do so Sunday against the Braves.
