Conley (2-2) picked up the win in Tampa on Wednesday despite allowing five runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
That 3.85 ERA Conley put up last year had some good luck baked into it, and it's more than balanced out this season. The outcome was positive in this one only because the Marlins scored 10 runs; obviously, that's not a common occurrence. Conley's ERA will probably level out eventually, but that level will likely be above the 4.00 mark, limiting his fantasy appeal to deep formats.
