Conforto is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs, Adam Rubin of ESPN.com reports.

While the power stroke has been around all season (10 home runs), Conforto has been unable to sustain a solid batting average which was part of the reason he was optioned to Triple-A to straighten some things out offensively. Conforto will now return to the major leagues and look to improve upon his .222 average as the starting left fielder.
