Raley drew his first start since April 7 in Sunday's loss to the Cubs and went 0-for-3.
EDGE Analysis
The blanking at the plate means Raley is now 0-for-11 over the last four games in which he's logged a plate appearance, with his last hit, a double, having come on April 3. The rough start at the plate means the offseason addition projects to remain in a low-volume reserve role for now, with Sunday's opportunity coming about due to manager Scott Servais opting to give the equally struggling Julio Rodriguez a "rest day," per the Associated Press.

this stupid team traded for the man and won't start him, when u have all these starters striking out 10 tp 15 times per game, just a typical tragedy by this ballclub. They are ruining him

Service rests the whiffer Julio instead of keeping on the bench

Raley, he played fulltime last year and is the type of players they need, not playing well now but not playing full time with Service managing.

Raley appeared in 118 games last year he is 29 nothing special about him one year in his MLB career his avg was above .200

my type of player I guess, he is pushing it right now to prove himself . He gets on base alot and has a lot of upside potential, He was on a loaded Rays team last season and scrapped for playing time. I was elated when M's got him but it is not going well now as Service just doesn't know how to use him!!
