Colome talled his 27th save by recording two outs, including one strikeout, in the ninth of Saturday's 7-3 victory over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The dominant closer received a rather unexpected save chance and helped tough-luck Chris Archer earn a rare win. Colome set down Danny Santana and Brian Dozier with two men on to close matters out, after Dylan Floro had given up a two-RBI single to Jorge Polanco and a subsequent hit to Kurt Suzuki. The 27-year-old has rattled off six straight scoreless outings after blowing his first save opportunity on July 23 against the A's.
