Colome (pneumonia) will throw the first of three scheduled bullpen sessions Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Although he's not expected to be ready for the start of the season, Colome could be stretched out enough after one or two turns through the rotation to take a starting job. With Drew Smyly (shoulder) and Alex Cobb (forearm) also delayed to start the year, the Rays will turn to the likes of Nate Karns, Matt Andriese, and Burch Smith to handle larger roles.
