Colome (illness) is scheduled to throw live batting practice Friday, Steve Carney of 620 WDAE Tampa reports. The team has been pleased with Colome's progress in his standard bullpen sessions, enough to return him to live BP before the end of the week. While the news has been encouraging regarding Colome, who is working his way back from a bout of pneumonia, there has been nothing to suggest his timetable for a return has been moved up. He must stay on the DL until Apr. 11, and the expectation is that he will remain out for additional week or two beyond that date.
