Coghlan was scratched from Wednesday's lineup due to a stiff neck. Coghlan's neck issue is considered minor, however, and he's believed to be day-to-day. With Javier Baez gone, Arismendy Alcantara was shifted back to second base, making Coghlan the presumptive favorite to start in left field. While the issue shouldn't be much cause for concern, his spot in left field isn't necessarily guaranteed, with Chris Denorfia also in the mix.
