Coco Crisp (neck) is not in the Athletics' lineup Friday. A's manager Bob Melvin plans to give Crisp the occasional day off here and there in hopes of finally knocking out the outfielder's nagging neck injury. Crisp has been battling the ailment for a month now. Craig Gentry is in center field Friday.
