Clevenger was optioned to Triple-a Norfolk on Tuesday, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports. As expected, Clevenger was sent down to make room for Chris Davis, who served the final game of his 25-game suspension on Opening Day. Matt Wieters (elbow) isn't expected to be out for long, and his return will make Clevenger the No. 4 catcher in the organization.
