Clevenger is expected to be removed from the 25-man roster following Monday's contest to open up a spot for Chris Davis, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. Clevenger remained on the roster as Ryan Lavarnway was reassigned and had his contract purchased before Opening Day. However, the return of Chris Davis will force a position player off the roster, and having three catchers is not a requirement.
