Clevenger exited Wednesday's game with a fractured third metacarpal bone on his throwing hand, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Clevenger reportedly took a foul tip off the throwing hand and it appears the issue will hold him out for an extended period of time. Mike Zunino, who is slashing .282/ with 15 home runs at Triple-A Tacoma this season seems the likely candidate for recall as a replacement for Clevenger, but that should be revealed when Clevenger is moved to the disabled list.
