Hanhold cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Hanhold was claimed by the Orioles from the Mets in mid-September but didn't wind up joining the big-league roster. He spent the majority of the year with Triple-A Syracuse, posting a 4.62 ERA.
